Winter can be a bit of a downer – with persistent rain, freezing conditions and long nights. We’re hoping that this month’s newsletter cheers you up on this moody winter’s day! This month, we’ve got a quick round-up of content we think you might enjoy, and to help you get to know us a bit better, profiles of two of our team members. Like most technology businesses, we are always looking for great people to add to our team, so shout out if there’s anyone you’d like to recommend or point them to our careers page.
Adaptiv getting out and about
The Adaptiv social calendar has been hectic lately with off-site trips and team events. We recently went to see the new IoT experience at Spark, had a team lunch and a very competitive quiz night. We also hosted a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to fundraise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation and almost doubled our efforts of the previous event.
Familiar faces
To get to know our team better, we have profiled two of our members in this month’s ‘Familiar Faces’.
Harris works closely with the whole team to deliver and implement integration solutions for Adaptiv clients. He’s also closely involved in planning and testing solutions.
Harris is an integration specialist with considerable experience across Microsoft Azure and Dell Boomi Integration solutions. Being a tech enthusiast and computer savvy from a very young age has allowed him in handling the learning curve of new technologies. Proactive and a fast learner, he’s not afraid to go extra mile to meet or beat deadlines. Harris is a keen landscape photographer, and enjoys exercise in his spare time.
Simon’s long association with Adaptiv puts him in the ideal position to oversee integration strategy and deliver to the high standards that are our business’ hallmark.
The last decade of senior integration experience has seen him develop productive relationships with small specialist trading houses to large Fortune 500 companies. Trained as an Azure Integration Developer and BizTalk Specialist, it’s his job to liaise with clients and vendors across time zones and locations, coordinating integration development and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
