In 2023, SKOPE embarked on a significant digital transformation journey with Adaptiv, beginning with their B2B e-commerce platform. With their steady growth, the business faced a fundamental challenge: disconnected systems. By implementing MuleSoft, a leading integration platform, SKOPE successfully unified data across its core systems. This integration ensured data consistency, improving reliability, and enabling the business to move faster with confidence.

From Integration to Intelligent Document Processing

Following the success of this implementation, SKOPE looked to opportunities to drive greater efficiency through automation. Order processing quickly emerged as a high-impact area.

Previously, order forms were processed manually, with staff reviewing and entering data one document at a time. This process was time-consuming and risk adverse.

To address this, Adaptiv implemented Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).

Using Salesforce Einstein AI capabilities, IDP extracts key information from unstructured documents such as PDFs. Once captured and validated, MuleSoft sends this data to SKOPE’s end systems.

This automation transformed a previously manual workflow into a streamlined, scalable process.

Improving Efficiency by 20%

By automating order processing, SKOPE achieved a 20% improvement in efficiency, reducing risk, time and resources.

“We now have a reusable platform in place that we could scale out across multiple areas. We could go a lot faster… we can have conversations with other vendors or partners about connecting to their systems in a much more confident way. We could govern those processes, whereas previously that was not possible,” shared Lucius
