The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Marketing Intern who thrives on creativity and collaboration. As part of AUT’s co-operative education curriculum, this 3-month fixed-term unpaid internship will immerse you in the exciting world of marketing, offering invaluable hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Help with the coordination of events, promotions and other marketing activities
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers and other promotional items
  • Help with the management of social media accounts, including daily updates and engagement with followers
  • Assist with the creation of marketing reports and analytics
  • Assist with the management of email marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the management of the website (CMS)

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience with marketing software or an interest in new tech is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is also a plus
