While Boomi’s AtomSphere has been around for years, this latest way to get started with Boomi even faster is making waves in the cloud industry, so we wanted to review it and compare it to its pioneer platform.
Is it worth the hype? Does the new version mean that you sacrifice all the bells and whistles? And beyond adding an extra word to its name, is AtomSphere Go the right move for your business?

AtomSphere Go is a frictionless, purpose-built, self-service buying experience that encourages users to utilise its features as needed and only pay for what they use. In a first of its kind for iPaaS, AtomSphere Go offers a “pay as you go” subscription service starting from only USD$50 per month and is calculated based on what scale you require. As a bonus, AtomSphere Go also offers the first 90 days free, so you can get a sense of which scale works best for your business or if the product is right for you.
We asked our Principal Consultant and resident Boomi guru, Philip Durrant, what his thoughts are about the subscription-style format.

Price, features – or both?

Like those using any of the other AtomSphere versions, customers using AtomSphere Go have access to well-loved features like Integration, Flow, API Management, Master Data Hub and B2B/EDI Management. Included in the monthly rate is access to Boomi’s Support features, particularly their training and certifications, as well as membership to the Boomiverse forums and community.
While AtomSphere Go sounds too good to be true, and you may be convinced that the subscription style service is the way forward, sometimes you just can’t beat the original. AtomSphere Go is designed from the ground up to be a full cloud-first iPaaS service, and as such doesn’t offer the same on-premises and hybrid execution options as the full AtomSphere platform.
